Selfless Act of the Day: A daring rescue of a motorcyclist trapped under a burning vehicle in Logan, Utah, was caught on tape by a Utah State University employee who happened to be filming a lecture nearby.

The video shows Brandon Wright being pulled from the flaming wreckage by a number of Good Samaritans who rushed to lift the 4,000-pound car off Wright’s motionless body.

“Absolutely, they are heroes,” said camera operator Chris Garff. “What those people did was … a very selfless act and they should be commended for it.”

Wright is currently in the hospital, where he is listed in critical condition. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
